PROPHECIES ABOUT MUSLIMS - MISHKAT AL MASABIH VOLUME 1

77 Abu Musa reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: This people of mine is a blessed people. There will be no punishment for them in the Hereafter. Their punishment is in this world – calamities, disturbances and murders. – Abu Daud

78 Abu Sayeed reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: It is near that the best of Muslim’s wealth will be cattle which he will graze by the sides of hills and places of rains, thereby fleeing away with his religion from the trials. – Bukhari

79 Abu Ma’lek Al-Ash’ari reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Verily the Almighty and Glorious Allah rewarded you with three (special) characteristics: your Prophet will not pray against you that you may all perish; the wicked people will not triumph over those who are righteous and you will not all be united over misguidance. – Abu Daud

80 Anas bin Malek reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Allah will never unite two swords against this people – one sword out of this (people) and another from their enemy. – Abu Daud

81 Ibn Omar reported from the Messenger of Allah (saw) who said: Verily your term (age) in relation to that of those people who are gone is what is between afternoon prayer and setting of the sun. And the parable of you and the parable of the Jews and Christians is like the man who sought to engage a labourer and said: Who is there to work for me from midday upto afternoon prayer each at one qirat? The Jews worked upto midday each at one qirat. Then he enquired: Who is there to work for me from midday upto afternoon prayer each at one qirat? Then the Christians worked from midday upto afternoon prayer each at one qirat. Afterwards he asked: Who is there to work for me from afternoon prayer to the setting of the sun at two qirats? Behold! You are those who will work from the afternoon prayer to the setting of the sun. Behold! There are double rewards for you. The Jews and the Christians got angry and said: We are long in work but less in reward! The Almighty Allah will then say: Have I taken anything of your dues by oppression? ‘No’ replied they. The Almighty Allah will say: It is surely My grace which I bestow on whomsoever I like [87:21] – Bukhari

82 Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Verily those who will hold me dearest among my followers will be a people after me of whom everybody would like that he could see me at the cost of his family and property. – Muslim

83 Muawiyah reported: I heard the Holy Prophet (saw) say: There will never cease a section of my followers who will upkeep the command of Allah. Whoever will put them to disgrace, shall not be able to injure them, nor shall he who will oppose them, till the order of Allah comes, while they will remain upon that. – Agreed

84 Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: The parable of my people if that of rain. It is not known whether its beginning is better or its last. – Tirmizi

85 Muawiyah bin Qurrah from his father reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: When the people of Syria will be destroyed, there will remain no good in you. There will continue a section of my people who will be helped. Whoever will (try to) put them to disgrace, will not be able to injure them till the Hour comes. – Tirmizi (approved, authentic)

86 Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Verily Allah pardoned mistakes and loss of memory of my followers and what they are made to do by force. – Ibn Majah, Baihaqi

87 Bahj bin Hakeem from his father from his grandfather reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say about the verse of the Almighty Allah – “You are the best of the nations raised up for men.” [3:110] He said: You complete the 70th nation. You are the best of them and the most honourable of them near the Almighty Allah. – Tirmizi (approved), Ibn Majah

88 Fudalah bin Obaid reported from the Messenger of Allah (saw) who said: Blessed is he who is guided to Islam, and whose livelihood is just sufficient, and who is contented therewith. – Tirmizi

89 Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqas reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Verily the greatest of the Muslims among the Muslims in respect of sin is he who asks a thing which was not prohibited for men, but which was afterwards prohibited on account of his asking it. – Agreed

90 Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: The age of my people is from 60 to 70 years. – Tirmizi (Rare)

91 Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saw) said: The ages of my people are what is between 60 and 70 (years); and there will be very few who will surpass that. – Tirmizi, Ibn Majah

92 Same reported: About what I know from the Holy Prophet (saw) (it is that) he said: Verily the Almighty and Glorious Allah will send for his people at the head of every century one who will revive its religion for them. – Abu Daud

93 Abu Ma’lek Al-Ash’ary reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: (Regarding) four things of my followers from the affairs of the Pre-Islamic days, they will not be able to shake them off: boast in achievements, and attack on pedigrees, and seeking water by means of stars, and mourning. He said: If a mourning woman does not make repentance before her death, she will be made to stand upon the Resurrection Day with coverings of tar and coat of mail of scab. – Muslim

14w Miqdad reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: There will be left no house of clay or tent on the surface of the earth but wherein Allah will not admit the word of Islam with the honour of an honourable man and disgrace of a dishonourable man. Either Allah will give them honour and make them dwellers thereof or He will put them to disgrace that they may come near them. I said: Then the religion will be entirely for Allah. – Ahmad

15w Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Actions will present themselves (on the Judgment Day). Prayer will present itself and say: O my Lord! I am Prayer. He will say: You are certainly in good condition! Then Zakat will come and say: O my Lord! I am Zakat. He will reply: You are certainly in good condition! Then Fasting will appear and say: O my Lord! I am Fasting. He will say: You are certainly in good condition! Then the actions will come like that. The Almighty Allah will say: You are certainly in good condition! Afterwards Islam will advance and say: O my Lord! Thou art Salam (peace) and I am Islam (peace). The Almighty Allah will say: You are certainly in good condition! Today I shall accept thee and bestow gifts on thee. Allah said in His book: And whosoever seeks any religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him; and in the Hereafter, he will be one of the losers [3:84] – Ahmad

16w Jaber reported from the Holy Prophet (saw) when Omar came to him. He said: Verily we hear traditions from the Jews which please us. Will you advise (us) to write down some of these? He said: Do you wish to court destruction as the Jews and Christians had courted. I have certainly brought it (Quran) to you (like) a fresh egg. Had Moses been alive, he would not have preferred but to follow me. – Ahmad

17w Ibrahim bin Mysarah reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Whoso honours an innovator, certainly he assists in the demolition of Islam. – Baihaqi (Defective)

18w Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Happy is he who saw me. Seven times happy is he who did not see my but believed (truly) in me. – Ahmad

19w Abu Obaidah reported that he asked: O Messenger of Allah! Is there anybody better than us who accepted Islam and fought hard with you? ‘Yes’, said he, ‘a people who will come after me and believe (truly) in me without seeing me. – Ahmad
